World Forum Website- Sharing Web Resources

Follow some of the outside links that you have not yet explored. Where do they lead?

On the World Forum Website the eternal or outside links to their sponsors in which they have tons of individual sites. These sponsors support their cause along with helping them keep the momentum going as far as engaging people and finding volunteers to support Child Advocacy.

Thoroughly search one area of the site. What do you find?

In one area on the website, I found a page for becoming a World Forum Champion. What this tab does is provide ways on supporting, influencing, and engaging children and students. This goes forth through impacting children globally by supporting the mission of the World Forum website in order to strengthening the quality through impacting the ways of children and their families. This can be through the support in education, health, and even social well being. Champion’s can also donate in order to support the World Forum cause.

If you receive an e-newsletter, follow a link related to one of the issues you have been studying. What new information is available?  New information that is available are in terms of their upcoming events and forums that are used to bring together people of different professional backgrounds. With these forums the amount of developing new policies and programs to enhance the lives of children and their families are brought forth.

Does the website or the e-newsletter contain any information that adds to your understanding of equity and excellence in early care and education? In terms of equity and excellence the means of having and supporting children’s rights their overall viewpoint. This is the view point of Child Advocacy that is spread forth in all of their newsletters. In their latest newsletter the first annual forum met up advocating the rights of children. This is the Global Working initiative for Children’s Rights that met June 2012.

*                    What other new insights about issues and trends in the early childhood field did you gain this week from exploring the website and/or the e-newsletter? Other issues and trends that were gained from exploring the website was the NACC group. What this group provides is a collaboration group that encourages schools to explore, reflect, imagine, revisit, and learning in an authentic way. This is found to be truly inspiring and different because it helps children cope and develop within school in a different way.
