International Consequences on Issues and Trends/Final

Final Blog: International Consequences on Issues and Trends

Three consequences of learning about the international early childhood field were facts and data give, real life scenarios, and apparent policies. The evidence of the facts and data that was presented through international forums and websites brought forth the capability of how real the situation is. Whether, this is by poverty means or means of passing children “through the cracks of society”. The evidence presented called for a picture of substantiation brought forth of life through the educational system. Next, real life scenarios of families through poverty extremes or other environmental sources were brought forth to light. It called for a means of what the aspect would look like if these children were not help or assisted and supported through the educational field. Lastly, the idea of polices led to consequences being place if these were not enforced such as providing accurate and quality childhood programs, so that children can have a full effect from learning from them.  One goal is to bring awareness through advocacy, so that others can share and know about certain policies presented. This will change the educational system and cause for ore awareness set forth. It will also provide more “spirit” to flow through collegial relations and enhance the impact of education and bring for the accomplishment.

Getting to Know Your International Contacts—Part 3

Pod Cast Alternative

Throughout the World Forum website, means of great information was stored and collected in terms of child advocacy. There was a great impact that has been placed on the issue of helping children achieve academic success as well as social and health development. Issues regarding quality in terms of living and working are slightly moving forward. Means of having these programs ties in with the aspect of making sure they are fully supplied with quality educational means and have sufficient material used to teach the children. The need to develop clear images on curriculum should also be promoted in order to accurately impact children.

There are tons of opportunities for professional development through the podcast. These are through seminars, meetings, and most importantly forums. Having these forums not only provides a clear picture for child advocacy rights, it also calls for debates and discussion in order to determine the real issue and solve them while putting action and order into place. Requirements for processional development are not truly stricken individuals that want to join the program. As long as they participate and contribute to certain issues being addressed, then the means of helping children can be added as a potential gain to helping society and even the world as a whole.

Professional goals include reaching and having success with certain policies that are in place in order to assist children. Means of joining more groups, discussions, and forums can also enhance the educational field along with making a different in the community and across the world. The podcast serves to better involve and inform the public of potential problems that exist within enhancing a child’s life; thereby these goals along with spreading the word to even more people can even create a greater impact.

Professional hopes, dreams, and challenges are all faced within helping children reach their full and capable potential. Within this in mind, the impact faced on helping children can be reached through Afterschool programs, leadership classes, and actual interest in the child. However, some challenges faced may be the mere fact that children have defiant attitudes towards the help that they have received, because they have never had help in the first place. Thereby, the needs to work with all kids at all levels should exist and be used to still provided the advocacy needed in society and amongst the world.

Global Chindren's Initiative

Three new ideas or insights that have became apparent throughout Harvard’s Global Children’s Initiative are spread forth through early childhood development,  development, mental health of a child, and  children in crisis and conflict situations. I feel that all three of these domains can make a difference in a child’s education, whether good or bad.  With early childhood development the means of acknowledgement has to be addressed in order to make sure that the child is developing properly through their early education life. Having this incorporates needs to coincide with mental health, because mentally the child needs to be stable. This all contains the “science of learning, behavior, and health beginning in the earlier stages of life.” (Global Children’s Initiative, 2012)

Lastly, the idea of crisis and conflict situations can uphold a huge impact in a child’s life. I feel that facing adversity, at such a young age, can cause disarray to the child mentally while creating a sense for them to become unfocused, not driven, and depressed. Thereby means of recognizing this situation and finding out ways to diminish the issue can help the child succeed in life. The videos were also informative, even though they were not in English. I feel that with language barriers the means of recognizing issues, trends, and ideas are still transparent and cross-cultural.

I have also found that it is extremely important to research and gather collective data references in order to pinpoint areas of lack. Implementation, evaluation, and knowledge all take part in creating a better educational society for children and their families, along with preparing children for the future in order to become better “leaders” for their generation.
