Research Around the World

Research Around the World
What are some of the current international research topics?
On the international website, The Early Childhood Australia, some of the current international research topics include the need of Federal Budgets for prior years. It revealed that in the early years of the field of early education, there was a decrease in the lack of investment by the federal government for Australia, which also put families in bind who needed help for affording early childhood education for their children. It also reveal’s that they are facing some of the same experiences that the US is facing for any matter concerning children in the early childhood category.

What surprising facts/insights/new ideas about early childhood did you gain from exploring this international early childhood website? A surprising insight from this international website was the need to increase support for children with disabilities that include access to quality education and that education has to begin from  birth to all children. This is a great concept that should also be incorporated in the US, because it implies the need for children to receive fair education, no matter if they have a disability or not.

What other noteworthy information did you find on this website? Other Noteworthy information found on this website was their Catalogue. The catalogue provides a means of tons of information that can impact their views and help them to understand the educational world better. It is also a great resource for teachers who want to increase their overall knowledge and impact their own classroom even more. This catalogue is a great valuable tool.

Research that Benefits Children and Families—Uplifting Stories

Research that Benefits Children

A positive example of child research that has produced positive effects are with learning how to control cognitive-behavioral and social problem-solving skills. I feel that this topic of research is relevant in all means because it can help a lot of children deal with emotional issues and learn how to cope with school and solve problems. In the research, “Resilience Research in Children” presented by Positive Psychology Center, children attended certain cessions of research where they learn “assertiveness, negotiation, decision-making, social-problem solving, and relaxation”. All of these methods can teach and inspire individuals who have problems with their emotional control as well as their behavior. This research method should be displayed in more schools so that the issue of unwanted behavior can cease.

Personal Research Journey

Research Journey

The chosen topic of stimulation is behaviors, and how they are affected through environmental means and through social and emotional aspects. I feel that this topic is most relevant because it is a huge issue amongst schools and preschools whether they are public or private institutions. It not only affects the child but it also effects the teachers and parents as well. My personal experience involves the students themselves. I have had a couple of behavioral problems within my classroom and ways of finding a deferment and learning how to adapt and determine the issue created a better atmosphere. It allowed me to become more objective and flexible as well as developing a strong sense to help children in the classroom. However, I know that there are some teachers that are not this “lucky” in solving their behavior problems with their students. Thereby, ways of research is at hand and should be available for all teachers, students, and parents so that academic success can be reach and so that children can build up resilience and reverence in the classroom.
